Foot Massage

Before the work begins, your feet will typically be washed and soaked to melt away daily tension. The massage usually starts with effleurage—long, gliding strokes using a warm, rich oil or lotion to prepare the muscles. Then, the therapist will use their thumbs and knuckles to perform cross-fiber friction on the heels and knead the thick muscles of the arch. Specific pressure points on the foot are targeted to stimulate relaxation and restore overall energy balance.

For the finishing touches, the therapist will work on the top of the foot, gently stretch and bend the toes, and rotate the ankles. Combined with a tranquil, welcoming environment, these steps leave your feet feeling light and totally refreshed.
